UNISON SQUARE GARDEN（ユニゾン・スクエア・ガーデン、英略：USG）は、日本のスリーピースロックバンド。所属事務所はソニー・ミュージックアーティスツ。レーベルはトイズファクトリー。略称および旧称は「ユニゾン」[4][5][6]。
略歴
2004年07月24日 - 斎藤が高校時代のバンド仲間だった田淵と鈴木を誘い、バンド結成。初めてスタジオ入りし、「星追い達の祈り」を演奏。この時点でのバンド名は「ユニゾン」。「UNISON SQUARE GARDEN」としての結成日はこの日とされている。
2004年07月31日 - TEENS' MUSIC FESTIVAL楽器店大会に出場し、大賞を受賞。9月25日に「ユニゾン」から「UNISON SQUARE GARDEN」に改名。10月に大塚CAVEにて行なわれた初のライブより、「UNISON SQUARE GARDEN」のバンド名を使用し始める[7]。
2005年3月19日に1stデモCD『流星行路』をリリース。10月5日、自主企画『箱庭ノスタルジア Vol. 1』を開催し、デモCD『センチメンタルピリオド』をリリース。
2008年07月23日、トイズファクトリーより発売された1stシングル『センチメンタルピリオド』でメジャー・デビュー。
2009年04月15日、初のフルアルバム『UNISON SQUARE GARDEN』リリース。それに伴い、全国22か所を回るツアーを開催。うち後半6か所はワンマン公演。それ以外の公演は3マンライブ。
2011年05月11日 - 5thシングル『オリオンをなぞる』をリリース。当シングルでバンドとして初めて累計で1万枚以上の売上枚数記録。
2011年08月20日 - バンド初となる日比谷野外音楽堂公演を開催。
2013年02月06日 - 4thフルアルバム『CIDER ROAD』リリース。オリコン週間アルバムチャートでは初登場9位を記録し、バンドのアルバムで初のトップ10入りを果たした。同日、初の映像作品となる『UNISON SQUARE GARDEN ONEMAN TOUR 2012?Spring Spring Spring? at ZEPP TOKYO 2012.04.21』を発売した。
2014年02月14日 - 「harmonized finale」で『ミュージックステーション』に初出演[8]。
2014年03月24日 - 斎藤のポリープの摘出手術のため、約1か月半の活動休止を発表[9]。これにより5月3日から5日にさいたまスーパーアリーナで開催が予定されていたVIVA LA ROCKへの出演がキャンセルとなった[10]。
