日本語で書かれた文献に特化した{{Cite news ja}}もあります。

この出典表記形式1テンプレートは、紙面・動画・音声もしくはウェブサイト上のニュース記事を出典として明記するために使います。
使用法

下記の書式をコピーした上で使用してください。ほとんど全ての引数名は小文字で入力する必要があります（|isbn=など、一部の引数名には|ISBN=のような大文字の別名が使用可能です）。引数はパイプ（|）で区切ってください。編集画面が乱雑にならないよう、使わない引数をコピーした書式から除去しても構いません。この解説ページ内に、今日の日付が表示される使用例が含まれている場合があります。日付が今日のものに更新されていない場合はキャッシュを破棄してください。
