THE BLUE HEARTS（ザ・ブルーハーツ）は、日本のパンク・ロックバンドである。1985年結成。1987年メジャーデビュー。1980年代後半から1990年代前半にかけて活動し1995年に解散した。略称はブルハ。

代表曲は「リンダリンダ」、「TRAIN-TRAIN」、「青空」、「人にやさしく」、「情熱の薔薇」、「夢」など。

バンド名の由来は、甲本ヒロトによると「意味は無く、誰もが呼びやすい小学生でもわかるような英語で、バンドの音楽性が見えないような名前」だからつけたという[要出典]。
概要

1985年結成。1987年にシングル「リンダリンダ」でメジャーデビュー。解散から30年近く経過した近年でも、彼らの楽曲はCMやドラマや映画などに多く使われている[注釈 1]。

主にボーカルの甲本ヒロト、リードギターの真島昌利が作詞作曲を担当した。

THE BLUE HEARTSの甲本ヒロトや真島昌利の書く詩は、NHK「人間講座」の「言葉の力・詩の力」（ねじめ正一講師）[3]中でも、その文学性が高く評価されている（なお、教材本文の講義は、2001年度前期のNHK教育テレビ「人間講座」内で放送）。

『THE BLUE HEARTS』から『TRAIN-TRAIN』までの前期三部作は、ブルースをルーツとしたメッセージ性の強い、独自の日本語ロックの世界を構築していたが、イーストウェスト移籍後からの後期作品は、後のTHE HIGH-LOWSに繋がる様々なスタイルを取り入れ、メッセージ性を無視した楽曲も多い。
