SMAP（スマップ）は、日本の男性アイドルグループ。1988年（昭和63年）に結成され、1991年（平成3年）にCDデビュー。2016年（同28年）12月31日に解散した[2]。活動は28年間に及び「国民的グループ」と称された[3]。所属事務所はジャニーズ事務所（現：SMILE-UP.）。レコード会社はビクターエンタテインメント。

グループ名は、当時事務所社長だったジャニー喜多川の命名。「Sports Music Assemble People」の略であり、「スポーツと音楽の融合」、「スポーツと音楽をするために集められた人々」という意味が込められている[4][5]。

かつて放送されていたフジテレビ系列のバラエティ番組『夢がMORIMORI』のコーナー「音松くん」での役名・衣装には、各々のメンバーカラーが使われていた[7]。なお、『夢MORI』の後継番組であり関西テレビ・フジテレビ系列のバラエティ番組『SMAP×SMAP』のコーナー「BISTRO SMAP」では、中居と稲垣のカラーが逆転していた[8]。

2022年4月現在、ジャニーズ事務所(現：SMILE-UP.)に残留しているのは、木村拓哉のみである（詳細後述）。
