People In The Box（ピープルインザボックス）は、日本の男性3人組ポストロック・バンド[2]。2003年に福岡県北九州市にて結成。所属レーベルはBAUXITE MUSIC WY.、所属事務所はBauxite Music。 2005年にドラマーの上田五郎が脱退。同年に波多野裕文からの誘いを受けた山口大吾が加入[5]。 2007年6月6日に残響レコードから発売したミニ・アルバム『rabbit hole』でインディーズデビュー[6][7]。 2008年5月29日のライブをもって中山敦史が脱退し、6月5日のライブで福井健太が加入[8]。同年にはシュノーケル、BOO BEE BENZ、ANATAKIKOUとのスプリット・シングル『A SIDE SPLIT Vol.2 ?water field?』（8月6日）[9]、『A SIDE SPLIT Vol.3 ?snow field?』（11月5日）[10]を発売した。 2009年10月14日に日本クラウンから発売した3rdミニ・アルバム『Ghost Apple』でメジャーデビュー[8][2]。 2017年1月18日にCDデビュー10周年を記念して、2枚組アルバム『Things Discovered』を発売[11]。オリコン週間アルバムランキングでは32位を記録[12]。 2019年8月21日に各配信サイトやストリーミングサービスで、初期作品および会場限定で発売されたシングルの音源の配信が開始された[13]。 発売日タイトル規格品番収録曲備考

波多野 裕文（はたの ひろふみ） - ボーカル・ギター・キーボード8月25日生まれ O型 福岡県出身2016年6月30日にソロアルバム『僕が毎日を過ごした場所』をソロライブ会場のみの販売という形で発売[14]。2017年より、チャットモンチーの橋本絵莉子と「橋本絵莉子波多野裕文」を結成し、同年6月21日に同名の1stアルバム
福井 健太（ふくい けんた） - ベース5月23日生まれ O型 岐阜県出身2008年6月加入。cinema staffのギターの辻友貴とは高校からの親友という発言は脚色で、実際は三島、飯田と仲良くなった方が早い[17]。2016年から2017年にかけて矢井田瞳のライブサポートメンバーとして活動。2022年３月10日、いきものがかり・水野良樹のソロプロジェクト・「HIROBA」の楽曲「幸せのままで、死んでくれ」にベース奏者として参加。
山口 大吾（やまぐち だいご） - ドラムス6月27日生まれ O型 福岡県出身L'Arc?en?Cielのドラマーであるyukihiroのソロプロジェクトacid androidのライブサポートメンバーとしても活動している。また、同じ残響レコードのosterreichのサポートドラムもしていた。
