PEARL（パール）は、田村直美 (SHO-TA) を中心とした日本のロックバンドである。
概要

名古屋E.L.L.を中心に活躍していたバンド『STEP』を母体に結成された。バンド名の由来は、田村の敬愛するジャニス・ジョプリンのラストアルバム『PEARL』から。

当初はバンドとしてデビューし、アルバム2枚、ミニアルバム1枚をリリースする。その後、1988年のAround and Aroundツアーを最後にギターの大橋勇がPearlを脱退し[1]、その後もメンバーが相次いで脱退。4枚目のアルバムリリース時点でSHO-TAのソロ・プロジェクトになっていた。1994年から、本名の田村直美名義でソロとして活動するようになり、PEARLは消滅した。

1997年、新たなメンバーで、バンドとして活動を再開した。結成20周年となる2007年12月12日にベストアルバムをリリースし、12月16日名古屋E.L.L.、12月17日渋谷O-EASTでライブを行った。
