バンド名の由来

バンド名「Mrs. GREEN APPLE」は、主に言葉の響きからだというが、「いつまでも熟さずに青りんごのような気持ちでやっていきたい」という思いから名付けられたという[14][15]。また、食べ物や動物といった誰もが聞いて分かる名詞をバンド名の一部に入れたい[16]、と高校時代の大森がメンバーらとファミリーレストランでバンド名を考えていたところ、メンバーが「GREEN APPLE」という名前を提案した[17]。バンドの印象として柔らかい、中性的なイメージを出したいという思いから、英語における女性への敬称でもある「Mrs.」を加えたという[16][18]。
