MC-130 コンバット・タロン（英語: MC-130 Combat Talon）は、アメリカ空軍が運用するC-130 ハーキュリーズをベースに特殊作戦に従事するための改装が施された輸送機・特殊作戦機である。MC-130の「M」はMultimissionを意味する。

主たる任務に、敵地での特殊部隊の潜入・退去・補給、捜索救難活動の支援、心理作戦がある。

MC-130には用途を異にする幾つかのバリエーションがあり、MC-130E コンバット・タロン I（初飛行は1966年）、MC-130H コンバット・タロン II（同1990年[1]）、MC-130P コンバット・シャドウ（同1987年）、MC-130W コンバット・スピアー（同2006年）の4つが知られている。また、2011年以降、最新型のMC-130J コマンドー IIの導入が進められており、MC-130シリーズの老朽機を置き換えている。

タロン（Talon）とは“かぎづめ”、シャドウ（Shadow）とは“影”、スピアー（Spear）とは“槍”のことである。
概要
MC-130E コンバット・タロン I

MC-130Eは、1960年代の初期に開発され、HSLLADS（高速低空空中投下装置）、電子戦機器、赤外線暗視装置、地形追随レーダーを装備し、地形追随飛行することで、敵の防空網を突破することができる[2]。また、フルトン回収システムを装備しており、これは僻地での救助、回収に用いられるもので、機首にV字型のアームを装備している。このためこの機体の判別は容易である。

MC-130Eが初めて投入されたのはベトナム戦争での「ストレイ・グース（迷えるガチョウ）作戦」で、単機での敵支配空域への潜入を成功させた。その後、パナマ侵攻、湾岸戦争、アメリカ軍のアフガニスタン侵攻、イラク戦争でも投入され、湾岸戦争、アフガニスタン紛争、イラク戦争ではBLU-82 デイジーカッターの投下や、CSAR（戦闘地域でのベイルアウトしたパイロットの救出）などに用いられた。
