「MATATABISTEP/あの青と青と青」（またたびステップ/あのあおとあおとあお）は、2014年3月26日にワーナーミュージック・ジャパンよりリリースされたパスピエのメジャー3rdシングル。 前作「最終電車 featuring 泉まくら（FragmentのREMIX）」から約10ヶ月ぶりのリリース。配信限定シングルも含めると、約5ヶ月ぶりの新曲。また、発売記念に「マタタビ・スケッチ企画」が期間限定で開催された[1]。 「初回限定盤」(WPCL-11776/7)と「通常盤」(WPCL-11778)の2種類の形態で発売され、初回限定盤は「bonus disc」付きで、特殊パッケージ仕様。iTunesバンドル特典として、CD未収録の「トロイメライ(2013.11.2 Live at LIQUIDROOM)」が収録[2]。 表題曲「MATATABISTEP」「あの青と青と青」は、約3ヶ月後に発売される2ndフルアルバム「幕の内ISM」に収録されている。「MATATABISTEP」はミュージック・ビデオは、2014年3月22日にYouTubeで公開された。 作詞段階で「トリップ」からの連想で「旅」に纏わる言葉を探していた所、大胡田の「松尾芭蕉に『復た旅をす』という歌がある」という発言を成田が「マタタビ」と空耳したことからタイトルが決まった。なお、サビの「資金繰りでミス」の部分は当初「至近距離でミス」となっていた。 カップリング曲の「Shangri-La」は、電気グルーヴの「Shangri-La」のカバー[1]。 CDショップ購入特典が数量限定で配布された[1]。 ※初回限定盤のみ
