J-HOPE（ジェイホープ、韓: ???、1994年2月18日 - ）は、韓国出身のダンサー、ラッパー、歌手。韓国の7人組男性アイドルグループBTS（防弾少年団）のメンバー。

本名はチョン・ホソク（漢: 鄭號錫、韓: ???）。愛称はホビ（韓: ??、??）。BTSでの役割はリードラッパー、メインダンサー
来歴

1994年2月18日、光州広域市北区日谷洞に生まれる[1]。

2010年、Big Hit Entertainment（現 BIGHIT MUSIC）へ練習生として入所。

2013年6月13日、防弾少年団（BTS）のメンバーとしてデビュー[2]。

2018年3月2日、1枚目のミックステープとなる『Hope World』を発表。アメリカのTIME誌が選ぶ「今週聴くべき5曲」に選出され、63ヵ国のiTunesチャートで1位を獲得した[3]。日本では、billboard JAPANのホットアルバムチャートで13位を記録し[4]、3月2日から8日までに集計されたSpotify Weekly Viral Top25で7曲がランクインした[5]。アメリカでは、3月17日付けのbillboard 200で38位を記録した[6]。

2019年9月27日、シングル「Chicken Noodle Soup (feat. Becky G)」を公開。本作では、自身がダンスを習い始めた頃に聴いていたWebstarとYoung Bによる楽曲「Chicken Noodle Soup (feat. AG aka The Voice of Harlem)」のサビ部分を引用。また、アメリカの女性歌手ベッキー・Gとコラボレーションした[7]。世界69地域のiTunes TOP SONGチャートで1位を獲得した他[8]、billboard Hot 100や全英シングルチャートTOP100にランクイン[9]。サビ部分のダンスを踊る「CNSchallenge」がTikTokを中心に流行した[10]。
人物

身長177cm、体重61kg、血液型はA型[11]。家族構成は両親と五歳上の姉。父親は国語教師を務めている。姉であるチョン・ジウ（韓: ???）はYouTubeチャンネルを運営しており、ホビヌナという愛称で親しまれている。

活動名である「J-HOPE」は、名字であるチョン（英: Jung）の頭文字である「J」と、希望を意味する英単語の「Hope」を掛け合わせたものであり、これは「パンドラの箱を開けると底には『希望』だけが残った」というギリシャ神話に由来する[12]。

BTSではメインダンサーとリードラッパーを担当。元々はボーカル志望でレッスンを受けていたが、後にラッパーへと転身した。これは、BTSがヒップホップグループからアイドルグループへとコンセプトを変更し、ボーカル発掘に力を入れたことが影響している。

Big Hit Entertainment入所前には、JYPエンターテインメントのオーディションを受けていた。また、元BIGBANGメンバーであるV.Iが経営していたダンスアカデミーでレッスンを受けていた経験があり、V.Iの妹とは友人関係である[13]。

2018年時点での純資産総額は1200万ドル以上とされ、メンバー内で最高額である[14]。

2023年4月1日、BTSの所属事務所「BIGHIT MUSIC」は、J-HOPEが兵役のため陸軍に入隊予定であると発表した[15]。同月18日、 陸軍の部隊に入隊[16][17]。
慈善活動

2023年2月15日、国連児童基金にトルコ・シリア地震被害子ども緊急救援に賛同して1億ウォンを寄付し、高額寄付者の集まり「ユニセフ・オーナーズクラブ」に加入したことが発表された[18]。
