GALNERYUSのロゴ
GALNERYUS（ガルネリウス）は、日本のヘヴィメタルバンド[1]。2001年にギターのSyuと前ボーカルのYAMA-Bを中心に大阪で結成され、2002年にIRON SHOCKレーベルよりシングル『REBEL FLAG』でデビュー。
SEX MACHINEGUNS並に度重なるメンバーチェンジを経て、2009年に、ミリオンセラーのソロキャリア（「You're the Only…」のヒット）を持つ小野“SHO”正利をボーカリストに迎えてから人気を上昇させた。

メロディックスピードメタルの疾走感のあるサウンドの中に哀愁を帯びたメロディを盛り込み、複雑な変拍子を取り入れたプログレッシブ・メタル的なフレーズや、合唱とのアンサンブルなどのシンフォニックメタル的なフレーズを多用する。
ヴァイオリン協奏曲Op.35をモチーフにした楽曲「ANGEL OF SALVATION」[6]や、アルバム『REINCARNATION』収録曲「THE FLAG OF REINCARNATION」のようにクラシック音楽の名曲のフレーズをギターソロに取り入れるなど、多くの曲にギターを担当するSYUのバイオリンの素養を生かしたネオクラシカルメタル的な要素も見られる。
