F/A-18は、アメリカ合衆国のノースロップ（現ノースロップ・グラマン）社が開発した戦闘攻撃機。また、採用国によっては防空任務が主な目的であることからF-18などと呼ばれることもある。

スズメバチを意味するホーネット（Hornet）が愛称で、現在は発展型であるF/A-18E/F スーパーホーネットと区別する意味でレガシー（旧来の）ホーネットと記載・呼称されることがある。ボーイングでは『F/A-18 Hornet Fighter』と記載している。
