KANOKO（Ds, Per & Cho）

Cyntia （シンティア）は、日本の4人組ヘヴィメタルガールズロックバンド。所属レーベルはVillage Again Association、所属事務所はMILLENNIUM PRO。2011年に結成し、2017年に活動休止。バンド名のCyntiaは、Cynthia＋Tiaraから生まれた[1]。
来歴

2011年秋、LIV MOONのMVで共演したYUIとKANOKOを中心に東京都で結成[1]。同年の夏にAIRIとAYANOが加入し、YUIとAYANOを軸として楽曲を製作を開始。11月に1年以上に及ぶオーディションを経て、SAKIが加入し5人編成となった[2]。

2012年4月にシングル「Run to the Future」でBright Star Recordsよりデビューし、オリコンデイリーシングルランキングで28位を獲得した。その後、AIRIが体調不良で脱退。サポートメンバーとして参加していた、LAZYgunsBRISKYのAZUが加入。

2013年1月6日、KARAの東京ドーム公演でバックバンドを務めた[3]。同年3月20日にアルバム『Lady Made』を119ヶ国のiTunesで配信し、世界同時メジャー・デビュー[4]し、7月に浜田麻里のヒット曲「Return to Myself ?しない、しない、ナツ。」をカバーし、メジャー第1弾シングルとしてリリース[5]。

2015年4月、リーダー兼ドラムス担当KANOKOが脱退[6]。以降、4人編成で活動。

2016年10月、Colorful RecordsからAldiousやRamiらが所属する「Village Again Association」へレーベルを移籍[7]。12月14日に4人体制移行後初のアルバム『Urban Night』発売。

2017年12月26日、YUIがフォーカルジストニアと診断され、メンバーとスタッフでの協議を経て、バンドの無期限活動休止に入ることを発表[8]。

2018年10月26日、フォーカルジストニアのため療養していたYUIの活動再開を公式ホームページで発表[9][10]。
