「バッド・ガイ」（bad guy）は、アメリカの歌手ビリー・アイリッシュの曲。アルバム『When We All Fall Asleep, Where Do We Go?』の5つ目のシングルとして、2019年3月29日にリリースされた。アメリカのBillboard Hot 100を含む多くのチャートで1位を獲得し、グラミー賞の年間最優秀楽曲と年間最優秀レコードを受賞した。
リリースと制作

2018年3月20日、アイリッシュが1stアルバムの制作に取り組んでいることが発表された[3]。約1年後の2019年3月29日に、アルバム『When We All Fall Asleep, Where Do We Go?』がリリースされ、「bad guy」はその5つ目のシングルとして、アルバムと同時にリリースされた[4][5][6]。

曲は、アイリッシュと兄のフィネアス・オコネルによって共同で書かれ、フィネアスが全面的なプロデュースを手掛けた。その他に、ジョン・グリーナムがマスタリングを担当し、ロブ・キネルスキーがミキシングを担当した[7][8]。

2019年7月11日、アイリッシュがファンであることを公言している、ジャスティン・ビーバーとのリミックスバージョンがリリースされた[9][10]。このバージョンにはビーバーもソングライターとして参加し、リミックス独自の歌詞が追加された[11]。
構成

『bad guy』は、2つのまったく違うテンポで構成される。序盤?中盤までは132?138 BPMと適度に速いが、終盤は60 BPMと遅くなる[12]。曲はト短調であり、ボーカルの声域はF3 からC6 の範囲に及ぶ[12]。

歌詞は「自分をもてあそぼうとする男子をあざ笑い、本当に恐れられるべき“バッド・ガイ（悪者）”は自分だと主張する」というもの[13]。具体的には「あなたはタフな奴／荒っぽいのが好きな奴／どこまでも満足できない奴／いつも得意げに胸を張ってる奴／私は結構悪いタイプ／あなたの母親を悲しませるタイプ／あなたの彼女を激怒させるタイプ／あなたの父親を誘惑しかねないタイプ」といった歌詞が挙げられる[6][13]。『rockin'on』はこの曲を「彼女自身の宣戦布告」と書き「女性であること、10代であること、そのすべてを弱さではなくパワーに変えていける冴えたやり方を提示してくれる楽曲だ。」と評した[14]。
