来歴1995年 福村が雑誌にメンバー募集を出しLucy Van Peltを結成。バンド名は漫画『PEANUTS』の登場人物名。1997年 1枚目のアルバム『in Harmony』をGOD'S POP recordsから発売。直後に坂本が脱退。1998年 シングル「シトラス e.p.」で東芝EMIからメジャー・デビュー。同時にバンド名を（原作者から物言いが付いた事もあって）現在の「advantage Lucy」へ変更。1999年 福村が脱退。2001年 自身のレーベルsolaris recordsを設立し、『oolt cloud』をリリース。2005年 番場が脱退。2011年 12月31日、ブログ上で石坂とアイコが3月に入籍していたことを発表した[1]。2015年 4月29日、結成20周年記念ライブを同じく20周年となるSwinging Popsicleを迎え下北沢CLUB Queで開催。
エピソード石坂と番場は以前にも同じバンドで活動していたことがあったが、結成当時に石坂は音楽を離れており、電気関係の会社員として働いていた。アイコはこのバンド以前に音楽活動の経験がなくメンバーとして受け入れられるか不安だったため、初回の練習時のスタジオ料金を支払う際に「このバンドに入れてくれるのなら（自分の分を）払います」と言った。

福村貴行
ギター担当。1999年脱退。2003年11月26日、虚血性心疾患の発作により急逝。享年28毎年、命日の時期に『胸キュン☆アルペジオ』と冠した追悼ライブが行われている。在籍したadvantage LucyとVASALLO CRaB 75のほか、ゆかりのあるアーティスト・バンドが毎年ゲスト出演している。2012年には10周忌としてトリビュート盤『胸キュン☆アルペジオ?Takayuki Fukumura with Friends』が発売された[2]
坂本和子
ベース担当。1997年脱退
メンバーの音楽活動石坂と番場はLittlestoneのメンバーとして1997年にアルバム『Jasmine』を発表している。番場と坂本は初期のルミナスオレンジに在籍し、アルバム『Vivid Short Trip』『Waiting For The Summer』に参加している。福村は脱退後、VASALLO CRaB 75を結成し、アルバム『BREATHE』『flip turn』を発表した。初期において、ギターを持ったアイコを中心とする編成の活動をmaples（メイプルス）という名義で行っていた。番場はかつてnails of hawaiianにも在籍していた。
