生合成

ジホスホメバロン酸はメバロン酸経路で、5-ホスホメバロン酸からホスホメバロン酸キナーゼから合成され、さらにジホスホメバロン酸デカルボキシラーゼによってイソペンテニル二リン酸に変換される。
