 1日 - スイスの連邦参事会で2017年の連邦副大統領だったアラン・ベルセが連邦大統領に就任 [1]。

4日 - ソウル中央地方検察庁、国家情報院から巨額の賄賂を受け取っていたとして国会議員で元副首相兼企画財政部長官の崔炅煥を収賄の疑いで逮捕。同日に朴槿恵前大統領も国家情報院からの収賄および国庫損失、業務上横領の罪で追起訴 [2][3]。

5日 - ジョージアの首都トビリシの裁判所は、在任中の2009年に殺人罪で服役していた元警官4人に対し違法に恩赦を与えたとして、ミヘイル・サアカシュヴィリ前大統領に対し職権乱用罪で懲役4年の実刑判決を言い渡した [4]。

8日 - イギリスのテリーザ・メイ首相が内閣改造を行った。ボリス・ジョンソン外務大臣やフィリップ・ハモンド財務大臣など主要閣僚の多くは留任した [5]。
