1960年の西鉄ライオンズでは、1960年の西鉄ライオンズの動向をまとめる。

この年の西鉄ライオンズは、川崎徳次監督の1年目のシーズンである。
概要

大洋に移籍した三原脩前監督の後を受け、川崎監督が就任。しかし、不動の4番・中西太が腱鞘炎を患うなど、ますます得点力が不足し始めた。チームは2年ぶりの優勝を狙ったものの、南海が開幕ダッシュに成功し、さらに大毎が6月に18連勝を記録するなど、南海・大毎の後塵を拝する展開が続いた。最終的に前年から順位を1つ上げたものの、南海の優勝を許して3位に終わった。投手陣は不動のエース稲尾和久がチーム勝ち星の半分を稼ぎ、2番手投手の畑隆幸などもそれなりの成績を収めたが、黄金時代の主力だった河村英文が広島へ移籍し、西村貞朗が衰えるなどもはや稲尾が主力のチームへと化してしまった。
