^ @media screen{.mw-parser-output .fix-domain{border-bottom:dashed 1px}}美人ボーカリストというと現在では数えきれない程多いが、1970年代後半には日本に限らず外国にも多くはいなかった。こうした特集をした場合、必ず取り上げられたのがオリビア・ニュートン＝ジョン、スティーヴィー・ニックス（フリートウッド・マック）、リンダ・ロンシュタットあたり（ABBAの二人は微妙、ヒップラインはきれいと言われていた）だったが、日本では非歌謡曲系、ロックテイストの美人ボーカリストというとアン・ルイスあたりしかいなかったためか、ジャズシンガーである阿川が取り上げられたものと思われる。[独自研究?]
