^ 第17回では、18:00までに到着することと紹介されていたが、スタッフより日没までにゴール達成できた旨が知らされていたので、こちらも実際は日没までのクリアが条件だったものと思われる。

^ 途中に舟宿はあったが、そこにデヴィ夫人を泊めるわけにはいかず、向かっていた銚子市内でバス・トイレ付きのホテルを確保する必要があったため。
^ 土曜スペシャル同時ネット局のうちテレビ北海道は、自社制作の単発ローカル番組「森永卓郎の発見!道内企業のソコヂカラ?時代を創る北の経済スピリッツ?」に差し替えたため12月1日に放送。遅れ放送は当初11月17日を予定していたが、「緊急生放送!池上彰の“ニッポンの政治”を見に行く?家族でわかる国会解散と総選挙の行方?」の同時ネット放送に急遽変更することになったため延期となっていた。BSジャパンでは26日遅れで、11月22日（木曜日17:00）に放送。テレビ北海道・BSジャパンとも遅れ放送では視聴者プレゼントがすでに締切となっているものの、視聴者プレゼントの告知はマスター送出で「現在、応募は終了しております」のテロップを挿入した程度で、そのまま放送された。エンディングの視聴者プレゼントの告知部分はBSジャパンでは「現在、応募は終了しております」のテロップを挿入した静止画に差し替えた程度でナレーションはそのまま放送されたが、テレビ北海道では視聴者プレゼントの告知がカットされ、番組案内スポットに差し替えた。なお、テレビ北海道では当初、一部の新聞テレビ欄（北海道新聞など）では「紅葉に包まれた極上温泉」（テレビ北海道と奈良テレビを除く同時ネット局で放送）が記載されていたため、番組開始冒頭のテロップおよびテレビ北海道ホームページのトピックスの欄で「一部の新聞発表と内容が異なりましたことをお詫び致します」と表記されていた。
^ 2時間半に拡大した完全版として18:30からの放送となるが、TXN系列ではテレビ東京のみの放送となり、その他のTXN系列各局（元から土曜スペシャル非ネット局であるTVQ九州放送を除く）は18:30-19:00の自社ローカル番組を通常放送する都合上、19:00-20:54の時間帯は別の単発番組に差し替え（そのうち、奈良テレビは3月16日、テレビせとうちは3月23日にそれぞれ2時間の短縮版を19:00から放送）。独立局では岐阜放送とびわ湖放送が同時ネット。なお、第6回から第10回までは90分短縮版、本編放送時間が2時間30分に拡大された第11回以降は90分短縮版および2時間短縮版では、物々交換のシーンがカットされている。
^ 途中でタイガーズアイのブレスレッドと交換したところ、最終的に4万円の自転車に化けたことから、幸運を呼ぶグッズとして登場。
^ 新白河駅の所在地は西白河郡西郷村であり、宿泊したホテルも新白河駅前にあるが、ホテル自体の住所は白河市内である。
^ 宇都宮は餃子およびジャパンカップサイクルロードレース（自転車）で有名であり、両方に因んである。なお、放送日である2014年10月18日は、ジャパンカップサイクルロードレース（クリテリウム）の開催日でもある。
^ 物々交換を行った福島県須賀川市は、ウルトラマンの生みの親でもある円谷英二の出身地で、須賀川市とM78星雲光の国は姉妹都市関係を結んでいる。
^ 19:00-19:30には『必笑!』（東京メトロポリタンテレビジョン）にも出演していたため、関東地区での当該時間は重複出演の形になる。
