^ そもそも「Blumen Fest」と名付けた人物が「花まつり」の名付け親とも言えるが、『仏教タイムス』の中で「巌谷小波あたりが命名したのでは」という記事がある。仮にそうなら、僧侶以外が命名したことになる[12]。
