注釈^ 万葉集の古写本や風土記において、「神社」あるいは「社」と書いて「もり」と訓読みする例がしばしば見られる。
^ 1985年（昭和60年）の政宗没後350年を機に仙台・青葉まつりとして再興された。
^ 『ミス仙台』が好評だったため、曲はそのままに『乙女十九』と改題して新たに歌詞を付け直し、またも二葉あき子が歌って1937年（昭和12年）1月に発売した。
