兵庫県（ひょうごけん）は、日本の近畿地方に位置する県。県庁所在地は神戸市。
概説神戸市（メリケンパーク）

南北に長い県域を持ち、近畿地方の府県で最大の面積を持つ。北は日本海、南は瀬戸内海の2つの海に接している県である。本州で2つの海に接している県は、両端である青森県と山口県を除けば兵庫県のみである。本州を青森県から山口県まで陸路で縦断しようとすると、必ず本県を通ることになる。日本標準時子午線（山陽電鉄人丸前駅ホーム）（明石市）

ほぼ中央を日本標準時子午線（東経135度）が南北に通過し、明石市にはこれに因む明石市立天文科学館がある。県中央部には中国山地が東西に横たわり、交通の難所ともなっている。

南部の瀬戸内海沿岸は阪神工業地帯や播磨臨海工業地帯といった日本有数の重化学工業の集積地となっており、近畿圏最多の工場立地数となっている。一方で、中部から北部にかけては農林水産業が主な産業であり、過疎地や豪雪地帯も抱える。
