^ 1948年（昭和23年）に「和歌山県民歌」、1954年（昭和29年）に「滋賀県民の歌」、1964年（昭和39年）に「三重県民歌」、1968年（昭和43年）に「奈良県民の歌」、1984年（昭和59年）に「京都府の歌」がそれぞれ制定された。大阪府は現在も府民歌を制定していない。
^ 一例として『日本うたの地図』98-99ページでは毎年6月1日の「善意の日」キャンペーンソングとして1965年（昭和40年）に選定された「こころの花ばたけ」が掲載されている。

ふるさと兵庫 - サンテレビの県政広報番組『週刊ひょうご夢情報』主題歌として使用された紙ふうせんの楽曲。2006年（平成18年）にのじぎく兵庫国体開会式で演奏されて以降“事実上の県民歌”として扱われている。
岡山県の歌 - 1957年3月9日制定。2010年頃県民手帳から削除された。公式からの紹介はないため、事実上の廃止状態。
新潟県民歌 - 1948年（昭和23年）制定。日本国憲法公布を記念する歌であることを歌詞に明示している点が共通する。
山口県民の歌 - 現行（3代目）のものは1962年（昭和37年）制定で「兵庫県民歌」と同じ信時潔が作曲しているが、1951年（昭和26年）に2代目の県民歌が2曲同時にいずれも大村能章の作曲で制定されていた。内1曲は清川妙の作詞で、日本国憲法第9条の理念を歌詞に含んでいる。
神戸市歌 - 現行の市歌は1951年（昭和26年）に制定された2代目で「兵庫県民歌」と同じ信時潔が作曲している。
