^ 朝鮮語: ??????（「ト」ブロ「ミンジュ」ダン）に由来。「朝鮮語: ?（ト）」単独でも「さらに」「もっと」などの意味を持つ他、英語の「the」（定冠詞）の音訳にも用いられる。
^ 開かれたウリ党（ウリ党）は共に民主党の前身となる政党で、盧武鉉大統領（盧武鉉政権（朝鮮語版））の与党である。ウリ党は2004年の総選挙で勝利し国会第1党となったが、その後改革立法をめぐって与野党や党内の対立が深まって支持率が急落し、2007年の大統領選挙敗北につながった経験があった。

^ 韓国では政権交代の度に強大な捜査権を持つ検察が旧政権の不正を追及しており、2009年には盧武鉉が自殺に追い込まれたことから、韓国左派にとって検察の権限縮小は悲願であった。ただし、尹錫悦の大統領就任後に文在寅や李在明に対する「政治報復」捜査をかわす狙いがあるとも指摘されている[158]
