イギリスの教育において公立学校 (「State School」または「Comprehensive」、あるいは選抜試験がある「Grammar School（グラマースクール）」) とは、政府によって出資された無料で教育を施す学校の事を指す。これは私立で有料のインデペンデント・スクール、非営利団体として扱われるパブリックスクールと対比される。
