真無盲腸目を除いたクレードは陰嚢類Scrotiferaとして定義される[1][8][9]。陰嚢類の内部系統では食肉目と奇蹄目を単系統群とする友獣類Zooamata説や[1]、翼手目と広獣類を姉妹群とするペガソフェラエPegasoferae説も存在した[9][10]。
絶滅、…など以前は系統不明であった数目を集めた分類群。
