^ Unicodeデータファイル [一覧 1]で定義されている値を記載する。
^ 日本語名称は、原則としてJIS X 0221:2014 附属書A A.2「ブロックの一覧」の「日本語による通用名称（参考）」に準拠する。ただし、一部でWikipeiaの項目名にふさわしい形に改変している（「ダイアクリティカルマーク（合成可能）」→「合成可能なダイアクリティカルマーク」、「けい線素辺」→「罫線素片」など）。また、JIS X 0221:2014はUnicode6.1に準拠したものであり、その後にUnicodeに追加されたブロックの、この表に記載された日本語名称は暫定的なものである。
^ 符号位置 (code point) には未割当 (unassigned)、すなわち非文字 (non-character) および保留 (reserved) の符号位置も数えている。
^ 各々の用字 (script) は、各ブロック中で一個または複数個の文字を持つ。これは文字の用字特性 (Script Property) で定義される。用字特性はブロックの名前とは独立である。
^ "Common" および "Unknown" (Zyyy) および "Inherited"（Zinh または Qaai）は、ISO 15924の用字を参照する。
