ムスリム（アラビア語: ????‎、英語: Muslim）とは、「（神に）帰依する者」を意味するアラビア語で、イスラーム教を信仰する人びとを指す。
概要

キリスト教圏ではムハンマド教徒（英: Mohammedan 等）とも呼ばれ、日本でもかつては一部でこの語を用いた。女性形はムスリマ（アラビア語: ?????‎）だが、アラビア語社会以外では基本的には区別しない。また、中世キリスト教世界では、イシュマエル人、カルデア人、モーロ人、サラセン人などあたかも民族集団であるかのような名称でも呼ばれた。

ムスリムになるためには、証人となるムスリムの前で信仰告白（シャハーダ）の手続きを取ることが必要である。
