Google Earth における表記について

本文では「日本語版の Google Earth であっても竹島が「??」あるいは「Dokdo」と表記される」とありまずが、確認してみた所「Liancourt Rocks」と表記されていましたし、「Dokdo」は見当たりませんでした（Panoramioによる荒らしとも言える表記の乱立は別ですが）。
その後下記の様な記述となっておりましたが、現在において過去のGoogle Earthの状況を確認できる出典がなく、また現時点でのGoogle Earthでの表記を転載するだけであれば特筆性もないため、節ごと削除しました。

Hello Pudmaker, I appreciate your comment as a fellow wikipedian.I try to make myself aware that most Korean people, although outraged by this controversy, are not so extreme as to kill a living animal as a way to protest. But frankly, the scenario you have presented doesn't seem realistic to me.Japan has already had its land which was rightfully owned both historically and by international law (in my opinion, at least) taken away by military force, which is quite major enough that it can start wars in certain countries. Because of the military and political structure of Japan, no wars have been faught, and how Japan has been trying to resolve this issue through diplomacy can be seen as admirable. But there has been virtually no outrage among the general public over the Liancourt Rocks issue, and I think that the public's reaction would be the same if Russia declared the North Territories as "absolutely and eternally a part of Russia." Besides, they already have control over the land, and no matter what they say it's not goint to worsen that problem.Maybe not necessarily being outraged, but I do believe that the general public in Japan should be more aware of this problem, in order for us to achieve a peaceful resolution, if possible. --ノーマッド
Pudmakerさんへ北方領土が日本固有の領土である事はずいぶん以前より日本の教科書にはっきり載っていますが、ロシアの駐日大使を召還させていませんし、ロシアで大きな騒ぎになったと言う事は聞きません。
