^ 2019年から全豪オープンで導入されている方式を採用。シングルスの本戦および予選、男子・女子ダブルスのほか、車いすとジュニアのシングルスで適用される。
^ 決勝戦は15回で引き分けとし再試合を行う。再試合はタイブレークが適用される。
^ 甲子園大会での延長回数の制限が1958年春まで無制限であったため、この延長回数規定の廃止により、2018年春の大会より再試合を除く決勝戦以外の試合では60年ぶりに延長無制限に戻った。
