例えば単体テストは特定モジュールという技術要素に着目しチームの開発を支援する目的で設定されるテストであり「技術面 x チーム支援」の第1象限に分類される。アジャイルテストの4象限という分類により、各テストが持つ役割を明確に認識することが可能になる。
