1997年にはプロデュースを担当したリンダ・ロンシュタットの『 Dedicated To The One I Love 』で 1997年度グラミー賞 の Best Musical Album for Children を受賞し、1990年にはリンダ・ロンシュタットの『 Cry Like a Rainstorm, Howl Like the Wind 』で 1990年度グラミー賞 の Best Engineered Album, Non-Classical を受賞。1998年にはリンダ・ロンシュタットの『 Cry Like A Rainstorm, Howl Like the Wind 』で 1998年度グラミー賞 の "Technical Achievement" を受賞するなど、制作面では確かな功績を残している。他にも1988年には Dolly Parton、Linda Ronstadt、Emmylou Harris らで結成されたユニット、The Trio の作品では、Academy of Country Music の "Album of the Year" を受賞し、1989年にはリトル・フィートの『 Let It Roll 』で、米 MIX 誌 TEC Awards の "Producer and Engineer of the Year" を受賞し、1991年にはリンダ・ロンシュタッドの『 Cry Like a Rainstorm, Howl Like the Wind 』、1992年にはライル・ラヴェットの『 Joshua Judges Ruth 』の各々で "Engineer of the Year" も受賞している。

最近では、カナダのケベック州、モントリオールにあるマギル大学 (McGill University) で、サウンド・レコーディング講座での非常勤講師を務めていて、ロサンゼルスの UCLA と USC や、テネシー州のマーフリーズボロにある MTSU でセミナーを開くなど、後進の教育にあたっている。
