かごしま県民交流センター

鹿児島市（かごしまし）は、鹿児島県の中部に位置する市。鹿児島県の県庁所在地であり、政令市を除く都市の中では船橋市、川口市に次ぐ人口を誇り、中核市に指定されている県庁所在地の中では最多の人口を誇る[3]。

鹿児島湾西岸の市街地から桜島を望む景観がイタリアのナポリからヴェスヴィオ火山を望む風景に似ていることから、「東洋のナポリ」と称される[4]。
