本楽曲は、1997年3月15日に公開されたアニメ映画『新世紀エヴァンゲリオン劇場版 シト新生』の主題歌（エンディングタイトルロール）に使用された。同映画の前売券第3弾の特典ビデオ『新世紀エヴァンゲリオン GENESIS 0:0' THE LIGHT FROM THE DARKNESS』には、本楽曲のプロモーションビデオが収録されている。
