1982年[3]、青森県むつ市に生まれる[4]。中央大学法学部法律学科卒業[4]。グロービス経営大学院大学経営研究科経営専攻修了 (MBA)[4]。

出版社でカルチャー雑誌や小説の編集を手がけたのち、独立[4]。出版産業に関する取材と調査を行っている[5]。著書に『いま、子どもの本が売れる理由』[6]、『「若者の読書離れ」というウソ 中高生はどのくらい、どんな本を読んでいるのか』などがある[7]。
