静岡県（しずおかけん）は、日本の中部地方に位置する県。県庁所在地は静岡市。
概要

東海地方（東海4県）の東部に位置する。直線距離にて県域の東西が155km、南北に118kmと全国13番目に広大な県域を保ち、全国10位の約360万人の人口を有する。旧令制国の伊豆国のほとんどと[注釈 6]、駿河国、遠江国の凡そ3国に相当する県である。地域によって住民の意識、方言、文化面に大きな違いが見られる。熱海市や沼津市など県東部は首都圏、湖西市や浜松市などの県西部は愛知県との結びつきが大きい。北側は広大な南アルプス、南側には駿河湾、遠州灘に面する。23市10区12町の自治体があり、村はない。

約20万の事業所を抱え、全国4位の製造品出荷額を有するなど、東海工業地域に属する全国有数の工業県でもあり[3][4]、浜松市はホンダの発祥地でスズキ、ヤマハの本社がある他、オートバイ、ピアノ、プラモデルの輸出量では日本一を誇る[5]。また、全国一の水揚げ額を有する焼津漁港や、静岡茶が有名であるなど、第一次産業も盛んであり、東西の交通網や港湾を利用した6次産業化も進んでいる[6]。
