野球日本代表（やきゅうにっぽんだいひょう、やきゅうにほんだいひょう）は、日本の野球代表チーム。日本では「侍ジャパン」（さむらいジャパン）の愛称がある。2024年5月現在、トップチームの3大大会であるワールド・ベースボール・クラシック（WBC）・プレミア12・オリンピックの全てで優勝経験がある唯一のチームであり尚且つディフェンディングチャンピオンであり、WBSC世界ランキングでも1位を維持している。
チーム名称

本チームの名称は「野球日本代表」だが、2000年のシドニー五輪までは「全日本」と名乗っていた。それ以降はオフィシャルサイト等の公式な発表では、過去に遡って全て「野球日本代表」との表記で統一されている。名称の変更理由、変更事実は説明されていない。近年の「野球日本代表」と過去の「全日本」は同一のものである。

第2回ワールド・ベースボール・クラシック(WBC)での日本代表の愛称は「SAMURAI JAPAN（サムライ・ジャパン）」であった。しかし2008年3月にホッケー日本代表が発表し商標登録していた愛称の「さむらいJAPAN」に酷似しており、日本ホッケー協会の永井東一広報委員長は「WBC日本代表より前に“さむらい”を名乗っていた。
