重量キログラム（じゅうりょうキログラム、kgf、en:kilogram-force）は、MKS重力単位系における力の計量単位である。1 kgf = 9.80665 N である。非SI単位であり、計量法により1999年10月以降は取引・証明に使用することは禁止されている。
名称、単位記号

計量法における計量単位の名称は、「重量キログラム」[1]である。俗には重力キログラム（じゅうりょくキログラム）、キログラム重（キログラムじゅう）とも称されていた。

計量法における1999年までの規定では、単位記号は、kgf (kilogram-forceの略語)（[2]である。その他、kgw (kilogram-weight) 、ドイツなど一部ヨーロッパ諸国はkp（ドイツ語：Kilopond）も用いられていた。
定義

重量キログラムは、質量1キログラム (kg) の物体が標準重力加速度のもとで受ける重力の大きさと定義される。標準重力加速度は、地球の北緯45°の平均海面上の平均重力をもとに定義されていた。重力は質量と重力加速度の積で、通常は1901年に国際度量衡委員会が採択した[3]約束値 9.80665 m/s2を用い1 kgf = 9.80665 N （ニュートン）

である。概算では1 kgf = 9.8 N

とすることが多い。

物体の質量、例えば、2.4 kg、とそれにかかる重力、例えば、2.4 kgf （= 23.536 N）、とは数値が同じになって感覚的に捉えやすいため、以前の日本では中学校までの理科教育でキログラム重が用いられていた。しかし国際単位系 (SI) が完全に導入されて以降は、中学教育では質量約102グラムの物体にはたらく重力を1ニュートンとして教えている。計量法も1999年10月1日以降は、取引・証明に用いることを禁じている[4]。
