見取図（みとりず）とは、立体の全体像がわかるように、見た様子そのままを平面上にスケッチして描いた図のことである。
見取図の最も簡単な描き方
立体を写真に撮る。

見えている立体の辺を、実線で書き写す。

見えない辺が無いところを実線で書く

実際の写真では、視点に近い物ほど大きく、遠い物ほど小さく写る（遠近法）が、初等中等数学の図形では、遠近の差ができるだけ図に影響しないように描くことが多い。建築・建設分野では、実際の立体?建造物?が完成していない状態で描かれるため、平面図から、二点透視図法を用いて遠近の差を強調して描き起こされることが多い。また、立体の全体像を便宜的に表すため、見取り図に代えて、キャビネット図やキャバリエ図などの斜投影図が用いられる場合があるが、実際の立体が斜投影図の通りに見えることはあり得ないので、これらを見取り図と呼ぶことはできない。
