綏靖天皇（すいぜいてんのう、旧字体：綏靖󠄁天皇、神武天皇29年 - 綏靖天皇33年5月10日）は、日本の第2代天皇（在位：綏靖天皇元年1月8日 - 綏靖天皇33年5月10日）。『日本書紀』での名は神渟名川耳天皇（かんぬなかわみみのすめらみこと）。欠史八代の一人で、実在性については諸説ある。
略歴

神日本磐余彦天皇（神武天皇）の第三皇子。母は事代主神の娘の媛蹈鞴五十鈴媛命（日本書紀）[1]。同母兄に神八井耳命（多臣等諸氏族の祖）、『古事記』では加えて同母長兄に日子八井命（日本書紀なし、茨田連・手嶋連の祖）の名を挙げる。神武天皇42年1月3日に立太子。

父帝が崩御した3年後の11月、異母兄の手研耳命を誅殺。翌年の1月に即位して葛城高丘宮（かずらきのたかおかのみや）に都を移す。同年7月、事代主神の娘で天皇本人の叔母（母の妹）にあたる五十鈴依媛命を皇后として磯城津彦玉手看尊（後の安寧天皇）を得た。即位33年、崩御。
名

神渟名川耳天皇（かんぬなかわみみのすめらみこと） - 『日本書紀』

神沼河耳命（かんぬなかわみみのみこと） - 『古事記』

建沼河耳命（たけぬなかわみみのみこと） - 『古事記』手研耳命を殺したことによる名。

事績

神武天皇76年3月11日に父帝が崩御した際、朝政の経験に長けていた庶兄の手研耳命は皇位に就くため弟の神八井耳命と神渟名川耳尊を害そうとした（タギシミミの反逆）。
