砺波市（となみし）は、富山県の西部にある市。田園地帯に農家が点在する散居村の美しい風景や、毎年ゴールデンウィークに開催されているとなみチューリップフェアで有名。
地理

砺波平野の中心に位置しており、北陸自動車道砺波IC、高岡砺波SICが立地し、北陸自動車道と、東海北陸自動車道・能越自動車道が交差していることや、南北に国道156号、東西に国道359号が伸びていることから、大型の郊外型商業施設が多い。

庄川町地域では、庄川温泉郷と言われる温泉街が所在し、複数の一軒宿が連ねている。
