阪神甲子園球場（はんしんこうしえんきゅうじょう）は、兵庫県西宮市甲子園町にある野球場。阪神タイガースの親会社である大手私鉄の阪神電気鉄道（阪神電鉄）が所有・管理・運用している。通称は「甲子園球場」「甲子園」（本項では以下、甲子園球場に統一）。
概要

1924年8月、大阪朝日新聞（現・朝日新聞社）主催の全国中等学校優勝野球大会（現・全国高等学校野球選手権大会）の開催を主目的として、兵庫県武庫郡鳴尾村（現在の西宮市）に開場した、日本初の大規模多目的野球場である。阪神本線甲子園駅前に位置している。

プロ野球（NPB）の本拠地球場としては現存する最古の球場であるが、1929年の改修以前は球技場や陸上競技場を兼ねた「大運動場」だったため、野球専用設計という点では1926年10月開場の明治神宮野球場のほうが古い（現存しない球場を含めると1928年5月開場の藤井寺球場のほうが古い）。2024年8月には開場100周年を迎える。プロ野球開催時の収容人数は東京ドーム（約43,500人[4]）に次ぐ42,600人程度だが[3]、スタンドが平屋建て（銀傘下のロイヤルスイートを除く）の球場としては日本国内では最大規模である。

開場以来、全国高等学校野球選手権大会（通称・夏の甲子園）および選抜高等学校野球大会（通称・春の甲子園）という2大高校野球全国大会の試合会場となっており、日本国内では「野球の聖地」と称されている。NPBセントラル・リーグに所属する阪神タイガースの本拠地球場としても知られる他、大学野球の試合でも使用され、関西六大学野球連盟と関西学生野球連盟のリーグ戦の一部試合が当球場にて実施されている。また、2021年からは全国高等学校女子硬式野球選手権大会決勝戦の試合会場としても使用されている[5][6]。野球以外では、全日本大学アメリカンフットボール選手権大会の決勝戦（通称・甲子園ボウル）が毎年開催されている。

球場の通称である「甲子園」は、先の2大高校野球全国大会の通称となっていることから高校野球そのものを指す代名詞にもなっている他、野球の大会のみならず高校生を参加対象とする全国大会やコンクール、地域別対抗形式のイベントなどが「〇〇甲子園」と名付けられることも多い（「甲子園の名がつく高校生大会一覧」）[7]。なお、『阪神甲子園球場』は1995年に阪神電気鉄道により商標登録されており（第3037323号ほか）、2012年には『甲子園』（野球用途に限る。第5509344号）も同様に商標登録されている[8]。

2008年からは日本の野球場としては珍しいオフィシャルスポンサー制度を採用している。2023年度ではアサヒビール[注 6]・東芝・ミズノ・三菱電機・山九・セコムが参加しており、いずれの企業も施設命名権ないし球場設備に関わっている[注 7]。
