現代正統派ユダヤ教（Modern Orthodox Judaism, Modern Orthodox, Modern Orthodoxy, "MO"）とは、正統派を大別したうち、超正統派でないものを言う。「近代的正統派」ともいう。シュルハン・アルーフを聖典とし、なおかつ近代・現代的価値観と、世俗教育を重視し進める（超正統派がそういったものを無視している、というわけではない）。
起源

現代正統派の起源はドイツのラビ、ザムゾン・ラファエル・ヒルシュ Samson Raphael Hirsch (1808-1888)、アツリエル・ヒルデスハイマー Azriel Hildesheimer (1820-1899) らに起源を持つ。
トーラー・イム・デレフ・エレツ（新正統派）

新正統派、またはトーラー・イム・デレフ・エレツ Torah im Derech Eretz （（ミシュナー＝）ヘブライ語: ???? ?? ??? ??? ‎‎ ? 地の道と共にあるトーラー “Torah with the way of the Land”）は、ザムゾン・ラーファエル・ヒルシュの提唱した正統派の哲学である（デレフ・エレツ）。
