亜綱:無翅亜綱 Apterygota
無翅亜綱（むしあこう、Apterygota）、無翅昆虫類は、かつて使われていた昆虫綱を大きく分けた分類群の一つ。現在の六脚亜門から有翅下綱を除いたグループによって構成されていた。昆虫のうち、今まで翅を出現させたことがなく、幼虫と成虫の形がほとんど変わらない原始的な虫の総称である。
現生ではトビムシ目、カマアシムシ目、コムシ目は昆虫綱とは別の内顎綱に分類される。現在の昆虫綱にはシミ目とイシノミ目の2目がこれに含まれる。
分子系統解析によりこのグループは側系統群であることが判明している。
