民主党幹事長（みんしゅとうかんじちょう）は、民主党の幹事長である。

本稿においては、旧・民主党と新・民主党の幹事長、および、法規上同一政治団体である民進党や日本の旧・国民民主党の幹事長について記述する。民主党代表を補佐し、党運営を統括する役職である（党規約14条2項[1]）。新・国民民主党の幹事長については、新・国民民主党の役職を参照のこと。
概説

民主党幹事長は、代表、代表代行とともに、党三役として民主党執行部の中核を占める[2]。同じく代表を補佐する役職である代表代行は常設の役職ではないので（党規約12条1項[1]）、幹事長が事実上の党ナンバー2である。ただし、民主党の参議院議員団に関する党務については参議院議員会長が担当する（党規約19条2項[1]）。

なお、幹事長人事が党内政局に及ぼす影響は大きく、2002年9月の民主党代表選で3選した鳩山由紀夫が中野寛成を起用した際や2016年9月の民進党代表選で当選した蓮舫が野田佳彦を起用した際には党内反発が起き、代表辞任の一因ともなった[3][4][5]。
