横浜駅（よこはまえき）は、神奈川県横浜市西区にある、東日本旅客鉄道（JR東日本）・東急電鉄・横浜高速鉄道・京浜急行電鉄（京急）・相模鉄道（相鉄）・横浜市交通局（横浜市営地下鉄）の駅。

JR東日本と京浜急行電鉄の駅は東口側の西区高島二丁目に、東急電鉄・横浜高速鉄道・相模鉄道・横浜市営地下鉄の駅は西口側の西区南幸一丁目にある。
概要公開保存されている二代目横浜駅の基礎等遺構（西区高島）

横浜市の中心駅で、JR・私鉄・地下鉄の各線が集まる日本有数のターミナル駅である。合計6社局が乗り入れており、1駅に乗り入れる鉄道事業者数が日本最多である。1日平均の乗降客数は約230万人（2019年度）で、年間乗降客数は約8億4100万人となる。この数字は新宿駅、渋谷駅、池袋駅、大阪・梅田駅に次いで世界第5位である。

現在の横浜駅は三代目である[1]。初代は1872年に新橋 - 横浜間で日本初の鉄道（現在の東海道本線）として開業し、二代目横浜駅の開業に伴い桜木町駅に改称された。二代目は国道1号高島町交差点付近にあったが、関東大震災で被災したため廃止された[1]。現在も戸部警察署高島交番そばのマンション敷地内に駅舎基礎部分の遺構が残されており、横浜市認定歴史的建造物となっている[2][3][4]。

当駅周辺は巨大な百貨店やファッションビル、専門店街などの商業施設、飲食店などが集積しており、首都圏有数規模の繁華街が広がっている。横浜港開港以来の中心市街地である中区の関内・関外（伊勢佐木町周辺）地区をも超える地区になっており、このことから関内・関外地区とともに横浜市のツインコアとして横浜都心に指定されている。

当駅は構内や駅周辺で次々と大きな工事が行われて、実質1915年の開業以来未だにすべての工事計画が完全に終了していないと言われており、「日本のサグラダ・ファミリア」と揶揄されている[新聞 1][新聞 2][5]。現在は駅ビルおよび駅周辺の大規模再開発事業が2011年から進行している。詳細は「#エキサイトよこはま22（横浜駅周辺大改造計画）」を参照。

2008年4月から、当駅に乗り入れる4社と横浜市や市民団体が俯瞰図・構内図・広域図・断面図に点字を施した「横浜駅さわる地図バリアフリーマップ」を配布している[新聞 3]。点字のないPR版もある。
