東京国際展示場（とうきょうこくさいてんじじょう、Tokyo International Exhibition Center）は、東京都江東区有明三丁目に所在し、株式会社東京ビッグサイトが運営するコンベンション・センター。運営会社名と同じ「東京ビッグサイト」（とうきょうビッグサイト、Tokyo Big Sight）の愛称で親しまれている。またその所在地から「有明」と通称される事もある。

中央区晴海にあった東京国際見本市会場の後継となる施設として、1996年（平成8年）に開場した。

前身の晴海会場から引き続き、社団法人東京国際見本市協会と株式会社東京国際貿易センター（共に東京都が出資）が管理・運営を行っていたが、両法人は2003年（平成15年）に統合、株式会社東京ビッグサイトに社名変更して現在に至っている[1]。

建築面積は約18.5万m2、展示面積は約11.5万m2（仮設展示場含む）で、日本最大のコンベンション・センターである。
概要

1980年代末期、東京都による臨海副都心計画が進められ、有明南地区に晴海の国際見本市会場を拡大移転した国際展示場を整備する構想が浮上する[2]。そして1996年（平成8年）に開業すると順調にイベント数が増加していき、2015年度（平成27年度）には過去最多となる1,605万人の来場者数を記録する[3] [注 1] 。一方で、2010年代には稼働率が限界近くに達したことや東京オリンピックが予定されていたことなどから、2016年（平成28年）に東新展示棟が、2019年（令和元年）には南展示棟が完成。これらにより展示面積は開業時の8万m2から11.5万m2へと拡張された。

なお、日本最大ではあるものの国外のコンベンション・センターの展示面積と比較すると、世界で36番目、アジアでも14番目（上位はすべて中国）であり[4]、世界最大のコンベンション・センターであるドイツのハノーファー国際見本市会場（約46万m2）[5]の4分の1の大きさである（いずれも2022年時点）。

表示

会議棟、東展示棟、東新展示棟、西展示棟、南展示棟からなり、会議棟は独特のデザインをしていることで有名である。また、敷地内の巨大彫刻『Saw, Sawing（切っている鋸）』（クレス・オルデンバーグ&クージェ・ファン・ブリュッヘン作）も有名である。優秀な建築作品を表彰するBCS賞を受賞[6]。
