文化人（ぶんかじん、英:a person of culture）は、文化的教養を身につけた教養人のこと。主に芸術や学問の分野で活躍している人のことも言う。
概略

清水幾太郎は、以下のような文化人論を述べている[1]。文化人の大部分は気障な嫌味な人々である。文化や思想を装飾にして世を渡るエゴイストが多い。その偏狭なエゴイズムを秘しておいて、思ひ出したやうに真理を語り、国家を云々するのが彼等の大半である。敢へて言へば、文化人といふものは日本国民の中でもかなり汚い部分を形作つてゐるのである。そしてかういふ汚さが最も甚しいのは、寧ろ良心的などと評せられてゐる文化人であらう。格別の業績もなくて、ただ良心的といふやうなポーズを以て身を守つてゐる人々に至つては唾棄すべき偽善者である。所詮思想を通じて彼等を見るのが過失である。 ? 「新体制と文化人」『日本評論』、1940年9月臨時号
