政治改革協議会（せいじかいかくきょうぎかい）は、政治改革を推進するために与野党間に設置された協議会である。
概要

1970年代から1980年代にかけてロッキード事件やリクルート事件などの政治とカネの問題が起こり、政治改革の必要性が高まり、政治改革協議会が設置された。
沿革

1991年8月、海部内閣が『政治改革関連法』を提出したが廃案となり、それを受け与野党は政治改革協議会の設置で合意した。1992年4月、与野党の超党派の議員や民間の有識者とで政治改革の実現について協議する政治改革協議会が正式に発足した。細川内閣では、政治改革協議会と内閣や総理府の組織の橋渡し・調整及び政治改革特別委員会で政治改革関連法案に関する事項の審議などを一括して担当する国務大臣を設置した。
政治改革担当大臣

政治改革担当大臣（せいじかいかくたんとうだいじん、英語: Minister in charge of political reform）は、日本の国務大臣。正式な発令は「政治改革を推進するため行政各部の所管する事務の調整を担当させる」となっているため「政治改革担当大臣」は略称である。

細川内閣で就任した山花貞夫は政治改革担当大臣の職務に関して「政治改革は政治倫理、政治資金、国会改革、選挙制度の全体を一体的として進めるべきもので、自治相と十分連携を取りながら、全体の総合調整を行うことだ」と述べている[1]。執務室は自治省内に設置されていた[2]。
